SteelFiber Locks In Two Top 3 Finishes
The No. 1 composite irons shafts on the PGA TOUR for the past three consecutive years, SteelFiber shafts by Aerotech Golf claimed two Top 3 money positions this weekend at the Encompass Championship on the Champions Tour.

SteelFiber shafts are well-known for delivering the power of graphite and stability of steel and two players at the Encompass Championship trusted SteelFiber i110 shafts in their irons, and each shot 11-under-par (205), tying for third-place. Both players scored 15 birdies (T5), with one tying for first in eagles and the other tying for second in greens in regulation. Both players also jumped into the Top 10 for Charles Schwab Cup Points.

"The popularity of SteelFiber shafts is really catching on with players on the Champions Tour, and it's very rewarding to see them embrace the performance benefits of composite technology for their irons," says Aerotech Golf President Chris Hilleary. "SteelFiber shafts incorporate composite technology that gives players greater vibration dampening, reduces fatigue, and provides consistency typically associated with steel shafts. This is game-changing innovation that benefits everyone, particularly seniors."

SteelFiber shafts provide superior performance through innovative composite engineering that combines a high-modulus graphite core with 59 miles of steel fiber lacing the shaft surface. While the shaft's graphite core provides vibration dampening, increased clubhead speed and maximum distance, the steel fibers produce optimum weighting for a solid feel at impact and add stability and control for pinpoint accuracy.

On the PGA TOUR, SteelFiber shafts are No. 2 and No. 3 in the FedEx Cup Standings; No. 2 and No. 3 in the 2013 PGA TOUR Money List; No. 5 and 8 in official world rankings; and tied for second for Top 10 finishes on the PGA TOUR. SteelFiber shafts have been the No. 1 iron composite shafts on the PGA TOUR in 2010, 2011 and 2012. Originally developed for irons, the SteelFiber technology now enhances the performance of hybrids, fairway woods and drivers.
Victory Marks KBS's Third Major Championship In Under A Year

KBS C-Taper shafts were trusted by the winner of the 2013 U.S. Open Championship. In a thrilling finish, this professional won his fourth tournament since switching into KBS shafts in 2011. In addition to the victory, KBS had the T2, T4 and T8 place finishes in Tour or C-Taper shafts. Thus far in 2013, KBS is the trusted shaft for both major champions.

The KBS team congratulates this professional for his first major championship victory. This player switched into C-Taper shafts after noticing an improved ball flight, distance gain and smoother feel. In fact, during his first practice round with the KBS C-Taper shaft, he holed out from the fairway for an eagle. Two weeks later, this professional won the 2011 BMW Championship by two strokes.

KBS is on a roll with Major Championships lately. Three of the past four majors trusted KBS shafts in their irons. In 2013, KBS has seen 10 professional wins worldwide.

Kim Braly, Director or Tour Operations and R&D said, “We are very excited for this professional and think this is only the beginning of his future victories at major championships. When he switched into the C-Taper shaft, his iron trajectory flattened out and we immediately noticed a reduced “ballooning” of the ball. A victory at Merion, where iron precision is so important, is a testament to the performance benefit of the KBS brand.”

SteelFiber Takes Top 3 Money on Champions Tour
The No. 1 composite irons shafts on the PGA TOUR for the past three consecutive years, SteelFiber shafts by Aerotech Golf are also delivering the power of graphite and stability of steel on the Champions Tour. Playing SteelFiber i110 shafts in his irons, one of the top players at this weekend's Regions Tradition tournament scored 19 birdies (tied for second most of the event) and finished with a third-place tie. The high money position also landed a third-place ranking in the Charles Schwab Cup.

"We've very excited about on continued success on the Champions Tours," says Aerotech Golf President Chris Hilleary. "SteelFiber shafts provide benefits for all players at all skill levels, but there is perhaps no player demographic that can appreciate the unique performance characteristics of SteelFiber shafts more than seniors. SteelFiber's composite technology gives players greater vibration dampening, reduces their fatigue, and provides the stability they have historically played with with steel shafts. Most senior players can simply play better and longer with SteelFiber composite technology."
Launch of C-TAPER LITE Iron Shaft
The C-TAPER LITE iron shaft incorporates proven KBS performance benefits – piercing trajectory and smooth feel – in a lighter weight design. The firm tip and stiff butt sections produce a mid-high trajectory and controlled spin. Featuring a constant taper design and proportionate wall thickness, the C-TAPER LITE maximizes energy transfer for maximum distance. As a result, an average of 5 yards increased distance was seen during robot testing. The C-TAPER LITE come with the signature KBS brushed satin finish.
SteelFiber Shafts Win The Memorial
The No. 1 composite iron shaft on the PGA TOUR, SteelFiber delivered the power of graphite and the stability of steel this weekend to win The Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio.

Playing SteelFiber i95 shafts in his Bridgestone irons, the 34-year-old Memorial Tournament champion closed with a 12-under-276 to win the Jack Nicklaus hosted event by a two-stroke margin. He moves to second in FedExCup Points and to No. 4 in the official world golf rankings.

The victory also marked his first multiple-win season of his PGA TOUR career, and he is now one of only two players who have won more than once this year on TOUR. He previously won the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship in February.

"We congratulate the winner of the Memorial Tournament on a great victory," says Aerotech Golf President Chris Hilleary. "As a golf shaft designer and manufacturer, there's no greater reward than to see professional tour players trust your equipment to produce winning results and to create unforgettable memories. SteelFiber shafts have introduced the unique playing benefits of composite iron shaft technology, and we're proud that this game-changing innovation is changing the way golfers think about their irons' performance."
