SteelFiber Delivers Top Money at The Masters
Aerotech Golf is proud to announce that its SteelFiber shafts — the No. 1 graphite iron shafts on all three U.S. tours — delivered Top Five money at the 2014 Masters Tournament.

Playing SteelFiber i95 shafts in his Bridgestone irons, the 2012 Players Tournament champion and two-time winner in 2013 fired off a 73-71-68-74 (286) for a T5 finish at Augusta National. Despite challenging playing conditions, he also tied for first in Greens in Regulation with 69.44 percent. In addition to this year’s Top Five finish, another Masters player won the Par 3 Tournament at this years’s event playing SteelFiber SteelFiber i110 shafts.

“The Masters is one of the most revered tournaments in golf and the field always includes the finest golfers in the world, so it’s extremely rewarding to see more of the tour’s top players trust their game to SteelFiber shafts,” says Chris Hilleary, president of Aerotech Golf. “SteelFiber’s innovative design is well-known for delivering the power of graphite and the stability of steel. The shaft reduces the risk of injury and decreases the fatigue associated with swinging heavier, harsher steel shafts, while simultaneously delivering stability and increased distance.”

SteelFiber shafts have already chalked up three wins and more than a dozen Top 10 money positions in the 2014 season. In 2013, players with SteelFiber shafts in their irons won five events on the PGA TOUR and two events on the Champions Tour. In addition, players with SteelFiber shafts ranked No. 2 and No. 3 in the FedEx Cup Season Points at the end of the regular season. SteelFiber shafts were also No. 6 and No. 12 in FedEx Cup Playoff Points; and ended 2013 overall as No. 3 and No. 5 on the PGA Money List; Nos. 8 and 9 in official world rankings; and tied for first and fourth in Top 10 finishes.
SteelFiber Takes Second at Shell Houston Open
The No. 1 graphite iron shaft on the PGA, Champions and LPGA Tours, SteelFiber shafts by Aerotech Golf took second-place at the Shell Houston Open. The game-changing innovation of SteelFiber shafts have accounted for 15 wins and Top 10 finishes already this year.

The Shell Houston Open runner-up and 2012 The Players Championship winner played SteelFiber i95 shafts in his Bridgestone irons, and shot a strong 66-67-68-72 (273) which led the rest of the field by two or more strokes. He won solo honors for second-place and was No. 1 in Greens in Regulation, hitting 62 of 72 (86.11%) during the event.

“The performance benefits of SteelFiber shafts continues to set it apart on all the top U.S. tours,” says Chris Hilleary, president of Aerotech Golf. “The innovative, game-changing technology of SteelFiber shafts combines the performance characteristics of graphite shafts which produce greater vibration dampening and less fatigue with those of steel shafts which typically give more consistency. We’re very excited to see more and more golfers, both pro and amateur alike, discover the benefits of playing SteelFiber.”
